The precision of the components is not enough and the assembly quality is poor. The mechanical friction loss between relative movements is large. The design and construction of the hydraulic components in the system are unreasonable and the manufacturing quality is poor. After the oil passes through the valve, the pressure loss is large and the internal leakage is serious. According to the fast-feeding speed, the fixed-pump oil supply system that selects the capacity of the oil pump will have a large part of the excess flow that overflows from the overflow valve under high pressure to generate heat during operation.

The selection of hydraulic components in the hydraulic system is unreasonable. When the valve is selected, due to the small size, the energy loss is too large to cause the system to heat up, or the flow rate is too high to cause noise. When the pump is used, if the flow rate of the pump is too large, the excess oil will overflow from the overflow valve and cause fever. The unloading circuit in the system is faulty or because the unloading circuit is not provided, the oil pump cannot be unloaded when the work is suspended. All the flow of the pump overflows under high pressure, causing overflow loss and heating, which causes the oil to heat up.

The system piping is too thin and too long, too much bending, partial pressure loss and large pressure loss along the way, there are redundant hydraulic circuits or redundant hydraulic components in the hydraulic system. The volume of the oil tank is too small, the heat dissipation area is not enough, and no oil cooling installation is installed, or the capacity is too small despite the cooling installation. The fitting gap of the fittings is too small, or the gap is too large after wear and tear, the amount of leakage inside and outside is large, and the volume loss is large. For example, the volumetric efficiency of the pump is reduced and the heat is generated quickly.

The adjustment of the working pressure of the hydraulic system is higher than the practical demand. Sometimes it is because the seal is too tight, or because the seal is damaged or the leakage is increased, it is necessary to increase the pressure to work. If the viscosity of the selected oil is improper, the viscosity is large, the viscosity resistance is large, and if the viscosity is too small, the leakage will increase. Both conditions can cause the oil to heat up.
